Volunteer Services Committee

Lead and plan service opportunities for other Hope students!

The Volunteer Executive Team is a selected group of eight鈥10 students representing a diverse group of majors, campus involvement and individual passions. The executive team meets weekly to plan volunteer events for the Hope Community, learn and reflect on topics relating to service, and volunteer in the community.

Director Roles

Student Life advisors select Hope Volunteers director(s) each year. These students take on a variety of administrative and leadership tasks surrounding community, campus and community-partner engagement. Directors also take on primary roles organizing campus-wide days of service, as well as in assisting each executive team member with their respective roles.

Volunteer Executive Team Roles

Hope Volunteers strives to empower servant leadership through integrative roles across a variety of student interests, passions and expertise. Current roles include:

  • Hope Volunteers directors
  • Community partner coordinators
  • Monthly event coordinators
  • Campus initiative coordinators

Core Volunteers

Students who demonstrate a deep commitment to Hope Volunteers comprise our core volunteers. These members are asked to participate in at least two weekly events per month and two monthly events per semester. While all volunteer opportunities are open to all students, the core volunteers are invited to additional community-building and celebratory events with Hope Volunteers.
